Who are we and what are we about?
LIGHT is a homeschool support group in Central Kentucky, that encompasses Anderson, Mercer, Washington, Boyle, Garrard, and Lincoln counties. LIGHT stands for:

Teaching
Our Purpose:
- To represent the homeschool community in a manner that honors Christ.
- To keep the group informed of homeschool events (i.e. seminars, conferences and legal issues).
- To provide an atmosphere for exchange of teaching techniques and curriculum information.
- To provide family socials, educational field trips, and group activities for our students.
- To promote public awareness of Christian home education.

Membership in LIGHT entitles you to the following:
- Opportunities to meet & build friendships with like-minded Christian home educators
- A monthly newsletter filled with LIGHT upcoming events and various home schooling information
- A member’s directory of phone, address, email and other helpful information
- Eligibility for co-op classes, field trips and activities sponsored by LIGHT
- A Group Code Number giving a discount to join/renew with The Home School Legal Defense (HSLDA)
